The Mediterranean Arts Society is proud to support artistic excellence through a variety of music and performing arts competitions open to students and emerging artists of different ages and levels. Our competitions are designed to inspire creativity, encourage dedication, and provide valuable performance experience in a professional and supportive environment.

Opus Aureum
Opus Aureum is an international music competition in Malta dedicated to Vocal, Piano, and Brass performance. Held annually in late August, it marks the opening of the European cultural season, bringing together talented young musicians from around the world. The event includes an opening ceremony, two days of competition, a masterclass, and a final gala concert celebrating artistic excellence and emerging talent.
Mediterra Musica
Mediterra Musica takes place annually from 13th to 15th November and is dedicated to singers and chamber music performers. The competition offers both live and online participation, welcoming musicians from around the world to present their artistry in an inspiring international setting. Participants gain valuable performance experience, artistic exchange, and the opportunity to connect with fellow musicians while celebrating excellence in vocal and chamber music performance.
