In 2025, Anastasija Holc expanded her vision of cultural exchange and international cooperation by founding the Mediterranean Arts Society in Malta, where she also serves as President.
This organization focuses on:
Promoting classical music, opera, and interdisciplinary arts across the Mediterranean region.
Supporting emerging artists by offering competitions, mentorship, and international performance opportunities.
Building cultural bridges between Southern Europe, the Balkans, and the wider Mediterranean world.


Our founder
Anastasija Holc (b. July 31, 1990, Belgrade, Serbia) is an internationally recognized Serbian soprano, pianist, professor, and cultural leader, known for her achievements on the operatic stage as well as her work in education and the promotion of young artists.
Anastasija Holc was born on July 31, 1990, in Belgrade. She pursued her undergraduate, master’s, and specialist studies in piano, solo singing, and chamber music at prestigious universities in Belgrade, Kragujevac, and Moscow. She completed solo singing studies simultaneously at two universities under the guidance of Professor Jasmina Jasna Šajnović, a leading soprano of the National Theatre Opera in Belgrade and professor Avramović Vojislav. In Moscow, she studied under the esteemed National Artists Lyudmila Safonova and Vladimir Selivokhin. Her academic achievements include being the Student of the Generation at the Academy of Fine Arts, where she completed an accelerated program sanctioned by the Ministry of Education. She also excelled at the "Patrijarh Pavle" Gymnasium, completing her studies as the Student of the Year.
Her postgraduate studies, including a Master’s and a Specialist program, were completed with a perfect GPA of 10.00.Anastasija was very gifted for science and maths. She finished 2 years at school for the most prominent students for science in Valjevo called Petnica.
Anastasija attended numerous masterclasses with distinguished Russian Federation artists, including Elena Kuznetsova, Ilya Chudnetsov, Vladimir Selivokhin, and Alexander Sultanov. She is currently a doctoral candidate at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad(class of professor Milica Stojadinovic), specializing in solo singing, where she was the only admitted Ph.D. student for the 2019/2020 academic year. She also pursued law studies at the University of Belgrade, completing a Bachelor’s degree in legal-business studies.Anastasija has honorable PhD from music academy in Strasburg and also from AU SPU from Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Her first international recognition came in 1998 when she won an award at the “N. Rubinstein” Piano Competition in Paris.
Over the years, she accumulated prestigious accolades, including: Grand Prix at Nikolay Rubinstain (Paris, 1998) Grand Prix at Dino Ciani (2006-2008, Italy) Paul Harris Competition winner (2008) Isole Boromee Grand Prix (2008)First Prize at the “Petar Konjović” International Competition (2012) Grand Prix at the Slavic Music Festival in Moscow for opera solo singing (2012) BelBrand Award Minsk Laureate Winner (2016) Laureate Winner at the Slavic Music Festival (2011) Grand Prix at Vera Kovač Vitkaj (2020).
She was also selected as one of the most promising young artists at the Music Talent Review in Sremski Karlovci, earning support from the Ministry of Culture.
Anastasija performed in leading opera houses, including:Bolshoi Theatre (Moscow, Small Stage),National Theatre (Belgrade),Serbian National Theatre (Novi Sad),Madlenianum Opera and Theatre (Belgrade),Opera and Ballet Theatre Bishkek/Kirgistan ,Opera and Ballet Theatre Almaty/Kazahstan, ,Bolshoi Theatre Minsk/Belarus,Opera and Ballet Theatre Izhevsk/Russia,,Opera and Ballet Theatre Skopje/ North Macedonia,Theatre of Galina Vishnevskya/ Moscow,Pezoula open air theatre Greece,Theatre of Francesco Stabile, Italy/Potenza,Opera and Ballet Theatre Timisoara/Romania Gala Performances in France, Germany,Austria Latvia, Romania, North Macedonia,China,Lethonia, Spain, and more. She collaborated with renowned philharmonic orchestras, including the Belarusian Philharmonic, Eurasian Symphony Orchestra, Kirgiz Philharmonic,Serbian Military Orchestra, Borislav Pascan orchestra, 13 violins, ProClassic orchestra etc.
Anastasija has been a jury member for prestigious competitions such as:Slavic Music Festival (Moscow) , Music festival in Artek(Russia) ,Lithuania Sonata, Latvia RestArt,Serbia Republic competitions for chamber music, opera singing,Italy MusicArt, Vera Kovač Vitkaj competition, Novi Sad, Artisti della voce competiiton, Novi Sad,Sirmium music fest, Sremska Mitrovica,Angel voice competition, Belgrade, MusicArte in Italy. Since 2016, she has been the youngest jury member at the Slavic Music Festival in Moscow, evaluating piano, ensemble, and solo singing performances. Anastasija has conducted a series of masterclasses in Italy, in the cities of Santa Severina and Crotone; in Russia- Moscow; in Latvia, in the city of Daugavpils; and in Bitola, North Macedonia, as well as in Karditsa, Greece, Novi Sad-Serbia, Malta at Russian cultural centre in Valletta. Anastasija has been a part of many festivals such as: RestArt in Latvia, Vrnjci in Serbia, BelBrand in Minsk, PianoFest in Bitola, Sirmium music fest, Tchaikovsky fest in Italy , NeoFest, EuroAsian music fest in Bishkek, Burgos Fest dedicated to Callas, EMCY festival in Saint Petersburg, Russia , Armenian cultural festival in Serbia,Karditsa international festival.
Anastasija has been an Associate Professor at the Academy of Arts at the University of Bijeljina since 2015. She has also held honorary teaching positions at the BLS Chinese University Network and the Esperans Academy of Arts and Music in Strasbourg. She is the President of the Board at Association of Music and Ballet Pedaogues of Serbia and a member of the Association of Music Artists of Serbia.
Anastasija is the founder and artistic director of: Canto Bene International Singing Competition,Vladimir V. Selivokhin International Piano Competition,Slavic Music Festival (Belgrade),Petar Konjović Competition (Opera and Piano Categories). She also works as the Artistic Director of M.A. Artists Management.She is a member at the Sectoral councils for the sector of arts and humanities ( Ministry of culture in RS, Agency for qualifications).Anastasija is Vice President at WAPA Serbia- World Association of Performing Arts in Serbia.
Anastasija performed for world leaders and cultural icons, including:Dmitry Medvedev and Svetlana Medvedeva (Slavic Music Festival, Moscow, 2016),Dmitry Lukashenko (BelBrand Award, Minsk Philharmonic, 2016),Sergey Shoigu (Honorary Doctorate Ceremony, Belgrade, 2020),Bilyana Sahrimanyan ( Armenian princess, February 2020, Belgrade),Manchester city team ( December 2023, Belgrade)
Her operatic repertoire includes leading roles such as: G. Bizet – Carmen (Carmen, Micaela) G. Anastasija currently resides in Malta with her husband and children.
