The Mediterranean Arts Society was honored to welcome renowned Spanish tenor Ignacio Prieto to Malta for a special visit that marked the beginning of an exciting new chapter of international artistic collaboration.
During his stay, Mr. Prieto met with representatives of our association to establish an official cooperation agreement, laying the foundation for future cultural and musical projects between our organizations. This important partnership reflects our shared commitment to promoting artistic excellence and fostering international cultural exchange.
As part of the visit, Mr. Prieto presented an intimate recital at Bla Kliem, accompanied by our director, Anastasija Holc, at the piano. The audience enjoyed a varied and captivating program featuring arias from Turandot, the beloved song Granada, duets by Franz Lehár, 'O Sole Mio', and selections from the rich tradition of Spanish zarzuela.
The recital was warmly received, offering a memorable evening of exceptional music and artistry. Mr. Prieto expressed his appreciation for the hospitality extended by the Mediterranean Arts Society and stated that he had a wonderful time in Malta while being hosted by our organization.
